Meet Our Writers: Jasmine

Hello everyone! My name is Jasmine and I am a fourth year neurobiology major at UCI. My hometown is sunny San Diego, California but I am currently living on campus in my own apartment. Pre-COVID one of my favorite things to do was go to Disneyland after a long day of studying/classes, screaming all my worries away while riding Space Mountain! During my time at UCI, I have been able to participate in Neuroscience research, be a mentor for first year Biology students, volunteer at an occupational therapy facility for children with neurological disorders, and join a feminist organization on campus called V-Day UCI. When I’m not studying, you can catch me debating over what Disney movie to watch, drinking coffee, or finding new food and beaches to explore.
